Hampton University freshman infielder Danielle Budden was named HU Athlete of the Week, following her performance on the softball field this past weekend.

Budden (Jackson, N.J.) was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Paradise Classic in Hawaii over the weekend, after her 4-for-4 performance in Friday’s 7-2 win over Delaware. She scored four times and drove in three runs in that contest – and she hit her first career home run.
 
She had a .905 fielding percentage for the weekend as well.
