Hampton University junior Ce'aira Brown was named HU Athlete of the Week for her performance on the cross country course this past weekend.

Brown (Philadelphia, Pa.) was one of two Lady Pirates to finish in the top five this past Saturday in the Cappy Anderson Invitational hosted by Maryland Eastern Shore. She turned in a season-best time of 19:19.07 over the 5K course, coming in fourth.

Her time helped the Lady Pirates finish third in the team standings.
