Hampton University redshirt junior guard/forward Dwight Meikle was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance this past week.

Meikle (Baltimore, Md.) averaged 17.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in two contests for the Pirates this past week. He dropped 19 points on Saturday at Norfolk State to go along with nine rebounds, going 9-for-13 from the floor.
 
He had 16 points, nine rebounds, and three assists at South Carolina State this past Monday.
