Hampton University senior Ce'aira Brown was named HU Athlete of the Week following her performance this past weekend on the cross country course.

Brown won the individual title at the 32nd annual Greensboro Invitational this past Saturday, turning in a season-best 18:36.60. It marked her second indivdiual cross country title at Hampton and her first since last season.

The Lady Pirates were sixth in the team standings.
