Hampton University sailor Maximilian Kuester was named HU Athlete of the Week for his performance on the water this past weekend.

Kuester accounted for a race win and a second-place finish on Saturday and Sunday,as the Pirates dominated the Villanova Sprint Open for their sixth regatta win of the season.

He sailed in the A Division with Giuditta Di Laghi, bravey chilly, windy, and snowy conditions to dominate the regatta.
