Hampton University senior guard Choicetta McMillian was named HU Athlete of the Week following her outstanding performance on the basketball court.

McMillian (Fairfield, Texas) averaged 21.0 points per contest in a pair of road wins over Delaware State and Norfolk State, hitting 10 of her 19 3-pointers. She scored a season-high 28 points behind a career-high eight 3-pointers on Saturday at Norfolk State.

McMillian, the team’s leading scorer with 15.0 points per game, also had 14 points on 6-for-15 shooting at Delaware State on Monday.
