Hampton University senior running back Jeremiah Schwartz was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance this past weekend on the gridiron.

Schwartz (Orlando, Fla.) rushed for 101 yards on 16 carries in Saturday’s 44-20 loss at Florida A&M, averaging 6.3 yards per carry. It was Hampton’s first 100-yard rushing game of the season, and the first 100-yard rushing game since last season, when Chisholm (Belle Glade, Fla.) ran for 140 yards against Delaware State.
