CROSS COUNTRY ANNOUNCES 2019 SCHEDULE

HAMPTON, Va – Director of Track and Field/Cross Country Maurice Pierce announced the 2019 Cross Country schedules for the Hampton Pirates and Lady Pirates today. The teams will run in five competitive competitions going into their second year in the Big South Conference.

They will have their season openers at Elon University Open to finish August on the 30^th in North Carolina. With only one meet in the month of September, the Pirates will be on the road at University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, MD to compete in the Eastern Shore XC Invitational on the 21^st.

Going forward in October, the teams will run in two meets. The first of which will be on the 12^th at the CNU Invitational hosted by Christopher Newport. The second meet of the month is set on the 18^thin Greenville, NC at the Pirate Invitational at East Carolina University.

Campbell University will be hosting the final meet of the season, Big South Cross Country Championships on November 2 in Blues Creek, NC
