BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell pulled away in the fourth quarter as the Hampton Lady Pirates fell to the Big South Conference opponent 69-51 Monday.

Jermany Mapp (eight points) also help the Lady Pirates' effort.
Hampton started the first quarter strong with an 11-6 run through the first 6:27. Campbell would respond with a 10-4, starting with 3:30 remaining in the first, leaving them up 16-15 following the first quarter. The back and forth between the two teams was a common theme in the second quarter, as Campbell was able to extend their lead to 29-26 at halftime.
The Lady Pirates started to fall behind in the third quarter, as the Fighting Camels extended their lead to 47-38 by the end of the quarter. By the fourth quarter, Campbell opened a 19-11 run that lasted from 8:17 mark until the end of regulation, giving them the 69-51 win over Hampton.
The Lady Pirates return home to take on Winthrop University Wednesday at 7 pm.
