BUIES CREEK, N.C. - The Hampton men's basketball team fell to Campbell University 75-60 Wednesday night in Big South Conference play.

Najee Garvin recorded his third double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Russell Dean finished with 17 points and forward
Marquis Godwin rained in five threes, finishing with 15 points.
The Pirates were neck and neck through the first half, trading buckets back-and-forth with the Camels. The Pirates found themselves down 26-20 with 6:36 to go in the first half following a layup by Raymond Bethea Jr. The Camels would finish out the first half on a 13-6 run and begin to pull away, as they lead 39-26 at the half.
Campbell would continue to pull away, extending their lead to as many as 26 points.
