The Tribe produced the first goal of the match in the 20th minute. Throughout the remainder of the half, William and Mary found the back of the net two more times making it 3-0. The Lady Pirates' Leah Johnson picked up a yellow card before the end of the half.

During the final 45 minutes, W&M was able to control the possession battle. With the Tribe possessing the ball for 61 percent of the match HU was held to only one shot attempt. While there were a total of 25 fouls in today's match, the Lady Pirates would only commit ten.
