Richmond, Va. (August 11, 2023) --- Towson was a near-unanimous choice to win the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) volleyball championship this season according to a vote of the league's coaches. Towson received 11 of 12 first-place votes in the coaches poll. Northeastern, picked to finish fifth, earned one first-place vote.

Head coach Sonja Maksimovic returns for her third season at the helm. In addition, Kellan Hollingsworth has been added to the staff as assistant coach. Hampton finished 3-16 last year in its first season in the CAA.
