HAMPTON, Va. (August 2, 2024) – Head coach Ronaldo Pacheco has announced Hampton's volleyball schedule for the 2024 fall season.

The team returns seven players from last year's roster, including Cortni Adams, Ada Bulgur, Madison Clark, Rhisen Davis, Kylah Hunter, Shachia Lamb, and Tyller Williams.

The schedule consists of nine home games, 21 away games, three tournaments, and 18 CAA games.

The Lady Pirates kickoff the season in a tournament hosted by the University at Buffalo in Alumni Arena. They will face Army on Aug. 30, followed by the host team Buffalo on Aug. 31 and lastly Oakland (Mich.) on Sept. 1. On Sept. 6, Hampton will travel to face American in their tournament in Washington D.C. The next day, the Lady Pirates battle in a double-header first against North Texas, and then vs. Georgetown.

The Pirates will travel to play George Washington in a midweek battle on Sept. 10.

Their last tournament will be the Henson Hawk Invitational at fellow HBCU Maryland Eastern-Shore. The first match will take place against UNC Asheville on Sept. 13. The last two matches will be against Iona and UMES on Sept. 14.

The Lady Pirates will travel to local HBCU rival Norfolk State on Sept. 17 at Gill Gymnasium.

Hampton's first home game will also kickoff CAA play. The Lady Pirates will host the only other HBCU in the CAA, North Carolina A&T on Sept. 20 and 21. They will travel up to play Hofstra in Hempstead, N.Y. in two matches (Sept. 27-28), before returning home to host Elon (Oct. 3-4).

Hampton will battle at UNCW on Oct. 12-13, and then host Norfolk State in the middle of the week on Oct. 16.

Up next, the Lady Pirates will travel to last year's regular season champions Towson on Oct. 19-20 in TU Arena, before welcoming Campbell on Oct. 24-25. They will head down to play Charleston on Nov. 1-2.

The Lady Pirates will wrap up the regular season by hosting last year's tournament champions Delaware (Nov. 9-10), and then making the short trip up to William and Mary on Nov. 15-16.

The CAA Tournament will take place from Nov. 21-23 at Towson.
