HAMPTON, Va. (Jan. 31, 2025) … The 2025 schedule for the Hampton men's tennis team will begin on Saturday afternoon as they face Christopher Newport indoors at the James River Country Club at 2 p.m.

ABOUT HAMPTON
The Pirates return a pair of double figure winners from 2024 in Donte Armbrister and Aryan Arora.
Armbrister was 10-13 last season primarily at the third spot where he was 6-4 in dual matches. In doubles, Armbrister was 13-14 in doubles to share the team lead in doubles victories.
Arora was 11-10 in 2024 mainly at the fifth spot as he was 8-5 last season. In doubles, he was 11-10 last year and sported a 10-1 mark at the third spot.

ABOUT CNU
The Captains advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Championships and return several key members.
Ashton Legum was 19-5 in singles and 19-10 in doubles, while Ryan Monroe was 18-7 in singles and Edvard Porsmyr Hansen sported a 19-9 record last season in doubles.
In tournament play this fall, five Captains recorded five singles wins apiece – Rainier Christiansen, Sam Halvorsen, Monroe, Hansen and Alex Seritis.
