LAKEWOOD, N.J. (Oct. 31, 2025) … The Hampton University women's cross country team finished its 2025 season on Friday morning with a 10^th place finish at the CAA Championships at Ocean County Park.

Hampton's top finisher was Shari Brown who covered the 6k course in 22:30.80 to finish 44^th. Fellow freshman Avah Savage was next in 59^th at 23:11.80, followed by sophomore Kylee King (61^st/23:25.60), senior Mekayla Wilson (63^rd/23:36.10) and freshman Olayinka Yetunde (72^nd/24:19.40).

Rounding out the Pirates were Alannah Runge (78^th/25:38.70) and Angel Moultrie (80^th/25:43.30).

Hampton scored 299 points as Elon captured the team title with 28 points, followed by William & Mary (68) and Northeastern (100).
