HAMPTON, Va. (Sept. 5, 2025) … The Hampton University cross country teams will be back in action this Saturday morning as they head to Farmville, Va. for the Lancer Home Open held at the Longwood University Golf Course.

Hampton finished 10th in the women's race and 11th in the men's race last weekend at the Richmond Spider Alumni Open. Shari Brown was the top finisher for the women coming in 43rd in 14:49.8 over a 4k course, while Mohammed Al-YaFee was tops on the men's side in 62nd with a 19:40.2 over the 6k course.

The women's 5k race starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday and the men's 8k race begins at 10 a.m. Live results of the meet can be found here.
