HAMPTON, Va. (Nov. 3, 2025) … The Hampton University women's tennis team concluded its 2025 fall schedule over this past weekend hosting the Hampton Hidden Duals.

On Friday, the Pirates battled the Pirates of East Carolina and split two doubles matches along with four singles contests. Those combined Pirates then took on Christopher Newport where Hampton went 2-1 in singles against the Captains and lost the only doubles match.

Over the weekend, Melis Sakiroglu went 3-0 in singles and Chelsea Chakanyuka was 2-0. Toffee Ghorab was 2-0 in doubles winning a match with Chakanyuka and one with Serena Bryan.

Hampton will start its 2026 spring schedule at CNU on January 31.
