Tshion Fedorov recorded his first career singles win for Hampton, defeating Vincent Truong of CNU 7-5, 6-2 to garner Hampton's lone win on the match.
Aryan Arora fought hard in the #5 singles slot for the Pirates, pushing Gabe Smith to three sets, but ultimately fell 4-6, 6-3, 10-4.
Navy (7-5) will have a pair of matches on Friday against Saint Joseph's and NJIT before hosting Hampton and Villanova on Saturday. George Cutone and Tommy Kim have 12 wins apiece to lead the Midshipmen.
Last year, Navy pulled out a 4-3 win at home over the Pirates. Hampton leads the all-time series 3-2.
