PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (Feb. 6, 2026) … Amaris Baker scored 24 points and Laine McGuirk added 10 for homestanding Drexel as they defeated Hampton 75-42 on Friday night at the Daskalakis Center in front of almost 700 fans.

Drexel (14-7, 7-3) forced the Pirates into a 0-for-24 performance in the first period as they jumped out to an 18-0 lead after one period. Aisha Dabo had six boards for the Pirates in the first 10 minutes.

The lead grew to 20 before a Janaye Walker free throw broke the drought at the 9:21 mark. Kayla Lezama's layup off a feed from Aaryn Battle was the first field goal for Hampton (9-13, 3-7) with 7:37 left in the half.
