HAMPTON, Va. (Mar. 7, 2026) … The visiting Campbell Camels used a pair of five-run innings in the third and fourth to bust game two of the CAA series with Hampton open and take a 14-0 win on Saturday afternoon.

Hampton had three hits on the afternoon, a two-out single by Amani Johnson in the second and consecutive singles from Sydney Evans and Carmynn Bonner in the fourth. The fourth inning was the best scoring chance, but a double play and a groundout thwarted the threat.

Amber DeSena, Alliyah Sweeney and Charlie Montgomery had two hits apiece for Campbell and Madison Ford drove in three runs to lead the Camels.

The Pirates and Camels play game three of their CAA series on Sunday at 1 p.m.
