2014 R-JUNIOR SEASON
Saw action in 11 games for the Pirates, starting in eight… had 35 total tackles on the season… was tied for third on the team with 7.5 tackles for loss… was fourth on the team with 4.0 sacks… was tied for second on the team with seven quarterback hurries… had a season-high six tackles against William & Mary… had a season-high 2.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks against Norfolk State… had a season-high four quarterback hurries against Miles College.
 
2013 R-SOPHOMORE SEASON
Saw action in all 12 games for the Pirates, making seven starts… had 42 total tackles on the season, including 11 solo stops… had a career-high six tackles twice: at Morgan State (one solo) and against North Carolina Central (two solo)… had two sacks on the season, both against North Carolina Central… tied for fourth on the team with 5.0 tackles for loss, including 2.0 each against Delaware State and against North Carolina Central.
 
2012 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in two games for the Pirates, making his lone start in the season opener at Tennessee Tech… recorded three assisted tackles in that game, his only tackles of the season.
 
2011 FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in nine games for the Pirates… had four tackles on the season, including two solo stops… had two tackles (one solo) against Howard on Nov. 5… had 1.0 tackles for a loss of two yards.
 
FORT UNION MILITARY ACADEMY
Won two regional championships… was a state championship runner-up… had more than 80 tackles and five sacks as a senior… First Team All-Region and Second Team All-State… was a selectee of the Crab Bowl, as well as P.G. vs. SMAC.

Born Sept. 4, 1992… son of Sandra and Charles Owens… has one sister, Constance (24)… uncle Steve Owens is a 1980 graduate of Hampton University… nicknamed CJ… was featured in The Washington Post… majoring in sports management… wants to be Director of Player Affairs for the NFLPA.
