2015 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in 46 games for the Lady Pirates, making 44 starts… had 29 hits in 126 at-bats, hitting .230 for the season… had three doubles, a triple, and two home runs… had 12 RBIs and scored 17 runs… had a season-high three hits against Delaware State on March 29… drove in a season-high two runs on April 18 against Maryland Eastern Shore… had a .317 slugging percentage… walked nine times and had a .295 on-base percentage… was 7-for-8 in stolen bases on the season… had a .959 fielding percentage… Preseason First Team All-MEAC.
 
2014 FRESHMAN SEASON
First Team All-MEAC… VaSID Second Team All-State… started in 49 games for the Lady Pirates… was third on the team in hitting with a .342 batting average, recording 51 hits – second-most on the team – in 149 at-bats… drove in 31 runs, tied for second-most on the team… hit a team-high six home runs to go along with seven doubles and two triples… was third on the team in slugging percentage (.537) and fourth in on-base percentage (.412)… was second on the team with 17 walks… was also second on the team with 20 stolen bases… had a .950 fielding percentage, with 106 putouts and 103 assists… had two separate six-game hitting streaks… was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with three RBIs against Delaware on Feb. 7… drove in a season-high four runs against Morgan State on March 22… MEAC Rookie of the Week (April 14).

Was on the varsity softball team as a freshman, sophomore, and senior… won the B-South championship in softball as a sophomore… was also on the track & field squad all four years… won the indoor championship as a sophomore… ran cross country as a senior… played volleyball as a freshman… played soccer as a sophomore.

Born on Sept. 21, 1994… daughter of Bettyanne and Frank Budden… has one sister, Brielle (24)… nicknamed Bud… was featured in the Jackson Times… majoring in marine and environmental science… wants a career researching shark ecology… also wants to be involved in the rehabilitation of marine mammals.
