2020-21 SEASON
Played in and started all 15 games…averaged 13.3 points, 6.5 rebounds per game as she was named Second Team All-Conference….scored 20 points with eight rebounds against USC Upstate (1/16)…had two double-doubles with 17 points and 10 rebounds against Charleston Southern (12/21) and 19 points and 10 rebounds against High Point (2/20)…scored 15 points or more in nine games…had eight or more rebounds in seven games.

2019-20 - FRESHMAN SEASON 
Played in 29 games, making 27 starts for the Lady Pirates this season…Young is averaging 12.7 points, 7.1 rebounds per contest as a freshman… was 137-for-366 (37.4%) from the floor and was 21-for-58 (36.2%) from beyond the arc on the season…Young was named Big South Freshman of the week for games played Jan. 6-12, Jan. 13-19, and Jan. 27-Feb. 2. Had six 20+ points games and recorded 10 double doubles on the season…Had a season high of 30 points against Longwood…she finished 1st in rebounds, and 3rd in scoring on the team. She landed 11th in scoring with (12.7 ppg), tied for 10^th in blocked shots (0.8 bpg) and 7th in rebounds (7.1 rpg) in the Big South Conference…she earned All-Freshman Team… played a total of 860 minutes…finished the season with 369 points, 42 steals, 16 assists, and 206 rebounds.

HIGH SCHOOL
Comes to Hampton after a stellar career at King’s Fork High School in Suffolk…She was a two-time All-State selection and a two-time Southeastern District Player of the Year…Young scored over 1,000 points in her career and holds the school record with a 52-point game in her senior season.
