Biography

2023 (Sr.) 

  • Was Selected to participate in the CAA’s SAAC Leadership Summit 
  • Finished the season with five wins in 15 starts 
  • Produced the second most strikeouts on the team with 39 
  • Picked up her first Coastal Athletic Association win against Monmouth pitching a complete game (Mar. 12) 
  • Pitched another complete game against Stony Brook in a 5-4 win (Apr. 22) 
  • Had back-to-back wins in consecutive appearances  

2022 (Jr.) 

  • Posted a career and team-high eight wins in 22 starts 
  • Workman’s eight wins would be the 11th most in the Big South 
  • She would also pitch the 11th most innings in the conference during her junior season 
  • Pitched nine complete games and two shutouts  
  • Produced her first shutout of the season against Garner-Webb and only gave up one hit (Mar. 12) 
  • Went the full seven innings against Norfolk State and posted a shutout picking up her eighth win of the season (Apr. 20)

  • The 2021 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic

  • Made an appearance in six games with five starts as a pitcher for the Pirates 
  • Finished the season with 2-2 record and a 3.61 ERA 
  • Ended the season with 14 strikeouts 21 innings pitched 
  • Had season high of four strikeouts at East Carolina (Feb. 14) 
  • Produced another four strikeouts in a 5-3 win over Binghamton (Mar. 7)

  • Produced 17 strikeouts topped by eight against N.C. Central University (Feb. 15) 
  • Had a five-hit shutout in 8-0 win against N.C. Central University (Mar. 3)
