Hampton Universit sophomore Krista Kraskura was named HU Athlete of the Week following her performance this past weekend on the volleyball court.

Kraskura (Kuldiga, Latvia) earned All-Tournament honors at the Norfolk State Spartan Invitational this past Friday and Saturday, after averaging 3.0 kills and 2.8 digs per set in three matches. She recorded her ninth double-double of the season in a five-set win over Norfolk State, tallying a team-high 21 kills and 16 digs.

She also had 12 kills and nine digs in a four-set win over South Carolina State, while also recording six kills and 11 digs against Texas-Pan American.

She hit .207 for the weekend.
