Hampton University senior guard Olivia Allen was named HU Athlete of the Week on Monday following her performance this past week on the hardwood.

Allen (Kildeer, Ill.) poured in a career-high 25 points as the Lady Pirates defeated Coppin State 68-59 last Monday on the road. She hit seven of her 15 field goals, including a 5-for-9 effort from behind the arc and a 6-for-8 effort from the free throw line.

Allen has scored in double figures in six straight games, including three 20-point performances.
