Hampton University junior outside hitter Krista Kraskura was named HU Athlete of the Week following her performance on the volleyball court this past weekend.

Kraskura (Kuldiga, Latvia) led the Lady Pirates with 13 kills in Sunday’s straight-set win over Norfolk State, hitting a team-best .565 by going error-free in 23 attacks. She also had six digs on defense in helping Hampton remain unbeaten in conference play.

In Friday’s five-set win over Delaware State, Kraskura had 17 kills and five digs, hitting .275.
