Junior Quanneisha Perry was named on Monday as Hampton University’s Athlete of the Week for her performance on the basketball court.

Perry (Decatur, Ga.) recorded her third double-double of the season on Monday against Morgan State, scoring 21 points and pulling down 11 rebounds in a 74-37 win over the Lady Bears. She followed that up on Saturday with another double-double at Norfolk State, scoring a career-high 23 points to go along with 13 boards in a 63-59 overtime win.

The Lady Pirates have won back-to-back games heading into Monday’s contest at North Carolina A&T.
