Hampton University junior linebacker Tyrone Ward was named HU Athlete of the Week for his performance this past weekend on the gridiron.

Ward (Oakland, Calif.) led the Pirates with 13 tackles on Saturday at Richmond, including six solo stops. He was one of two Pirates with double-digit tackles against the Spiders.
