Hampton University senior distance runner Edose Ibadin was named HU Athlete of the Week for his performance on the track this past weekend.

Ibadin (Glendale, Md.) helped the Pirates win the team title in the Terrapin Invitational on Saturday, taking part in both the gold medal-winning 4x400-meter relay and distance medley relay teams. The 4x400 squad ran a season-best 3:20.41, and the distance medley team turned in a 10:43.30.
 
Ibadin also ran a 36.02 to finish second in the 300-meter dash, personally accounting for 28 points.
