Hampton University senior Ce'aira Brown was named HU Athlete of the Week for her performance on the track this past weekend.

Brown broke her own school record in the 800-meter run at the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla., turning in a 2:02.82 to finish third overall and best among collegiate runners.

She also anchored the sprint medley relay team that was second with a time of 3:50.52.
