Hampton University sophomore linebacker Delbert Tyler was named Hampton University Athlete of the Week following his outstanding performance on the gridiron.

Tyler (Monroeville, Pa.) tied for the team-high with 18 tackles in Saturday’s 10-7 loss to Howard at Armstrong Stadium. He had seven solo tackles and 11 assisted stops against the Bison, tying DeVonte’ Hawkins for the team lead.
