DOVER, DeL. – The Hampton University men's cross country team finished fourth at the 2016 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championships held at the Delaware State Outreach and Research Center Saturday morning.
Hampton scored 115 points in the meet that was won by Maryland Eastern Shore with 38 points. Norfolk State was second with 39 points, followed by North Carolina A&T State with 84.
Two Pirates finished in the top 15 to earn All-Conference honors. Sophomore
Emmanuel Too was tenth covering the 8k course in 26:09.72. Freshman
Geoffrey McCullough was 13
th in 26:24.03 to join Too as an All-MEAC selection.
