MEN FINISH SEVENTH AT MEAC CHAMPIONSHIP

SMYRNA, De. -- The Hampton men's cross country team finished seventh on Saturday in the 2017 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championships held on Saturday morning.

Norfolk State won the title with 25 points, followed by defending champion Maryland Eastern Shore with 84 points.  Hampton ended with 151 points.

Emmanuel Too was the leading Hampton runner taking eighth place in a time of 25:41.7 over the 8k course at the Delaware State Outreach and Research Center.  He was the lone Hampton runner to earn All-MEAC honors.

Geoffrey McCullough was next in 25th (27:17.5), followed by Coby Price in 35th (28:04.0), Stanley Davis in 39th (28:27.8) and Tayvon Burris in 44th (28:52.4).

Hampton will participate in the NCAA regionals on Nov. 11 in Charlottesville, Va.
