HAMPTON, Va. – The Hampton University Lady Pirates start a two-game in five-day span with the Baltimore schools facing Morgan State in its lone contest with the Bears this year.

ABOUT HAMPTON
Hampton is 14-12 and 8-5 in MEAC action after losing 62-44 at Florida A&M on Monday night.
Monnazjea Finney-Smith scored 16 points with nine rebounds to lead Hampton in scoring and rebounding.
ABOUT MORGAN STATE
The Bears have won five games in a row and are now 7-19 on the year and 5-8 in conference play. Tykyrah Williams and Braennan Farrar had 16 points apiece in a win over Delaware State 71-52 on Monday. Farrar is the leading scorer on the team at 12.3 points per game, while Williams is next at 10.5 per contest. Zuri White leads them on the boards at 6.7 per game.
TURNING THEM OVER
Hampton has made a habit of turning teams over this year as they lead the conference in forced turnovers at 21.88 per game. That ranks them seventh nationally, while their +7.23 turnover margin ranks them eighth in NCAA Division I.
SERIES VS. MORGAN STATE
Hampton leads the all-time series with Morgan State 30-11 and won both meetings last year. They scored a 65-51 win in Baltimore on Dec. 7, 2015 and then took the rematch at the HU Convocation Center 60-47 on Feb. 15, 2016. Hampton has won the last 12 meetings and leads the series in Baltimore 11-8.
