KERNERSVILLE, N.C. – Hampton University men's cross country program concluded its 2018 season on Friday with a tenth place showing at the 2018 Big South Cross Country Championships.
Campbell won the meet with 27 points, followed by Charleston Southern (36), High Point (75), UNC Asheville (114) and USC Upstate (124) to round out the top five. Hampton had 289 points.
Leading Hampton was
Geoffrey McCullough who finished in 46
th place covering the 8k course in 28:35.0. Coby Price was next in 55
th with a time of 29:31.8, while Tayvon Burris was in 66
th in a time of 30:59.0.
Rounding out the Pirates were
Jamont Hike-Charles in 71
st (31:44.3) and Zaire Huyghue in 79
th (33:16.1).
