ORLANDO, Fl. – The Hampton women's tennis team dropped its match on Monday morning to South Dakota 5-2 at the USTA Tennis Center in Orlando.

In doubles, Kiah Turner and Yulia Kapitanova won 6-4 for the only Hampton win.  In singles, Cherise Slocombe won at line three over Ali Habiba 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 for Hampton's point.

Hampton returns to action with a 11:30 am match against Western Carolina on Tuesday morning.
