LEESBURG, Va. – The Hampton University men's cross country team competed at the George Mason University Invitational on Saturday morning.
 
Coby Price paced the Pirates with a 41st place finish, running a time of 29:21.2, averaging just under six minutes per mile. Geoffrey McCullough was the next HU runner to break the tape, stopping the clock at 31:11.9. Tayvon Burris posted a time of 31:38.1, followed by Nick O'Keeffe (32:30.2) and Jamont Hike-Charles (32:48.4) respectively.
 
Hampton travels to the Pirate Invitational, hosted by East Carolina University, on Friday, October 12.
