WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Hampton University Cross Country teams opened their 2021 seasons on Friday night at the William & Mary Invitational at Eastern State Hospital.
Leading the men's side was sophomore
Dugion Blackman who covered the 6k Dunbar Farms course at Eastern State in 23:07.24 for a 16
th place finish. Fellow sophomore
Rushshane Fullerton was just behind him in 17
th with a time of 23:15.55.
Other finishers for Hampton included: Jordan Ross (18
th) 23:58.82; Coby Price (19
th) 24:45.69;
Jeremiah Hill (20
th) 25:07.44
In the women's 5k race, freshman
Jordan Mozie took a tenth place finish leading the Lady Pirates in a time of 21:43.64. Dejah Grant was next for Hampton in 12
th place with a time of 23:08.67.
