HAMPTON, Va. (January 30, 2025) … The Hampton Pirates end the month of January in Greensboro, N.C. on Friday night as they take on league-leading North Carolina A&T inside the Corbett Sports Center at 7 p.m.

Hampton holds a 28-20 advantage in the all-time series after the Aggies took the season's first meeting 75-48 on January 5, 2025.Â
Jasha Clinton had 18 points and three rebounds to lead the Pirates in that contest. Hampton cut a 12-point first-quarter deficit in half, trailing 36-30 at halftime. In the second half, the Aggies outscored the Pirates 39-18.

Hampton finished a four-game homestand on Sunday falling 66-50 to UNCW.Â
Aisha Dabo had 16 points and two blocked shots to lead Hampton in scoring against the Seahawks.

Dabo has had her best four-game stretch statistically this season during the recently completed homestand. The native of Queens, N.Y. averaged 14 points and six rebounds per game in the homestand. She recorded a career-high of 17 points against Delaware and had 16 against UNCW to close out the homestand.

Amyah Reaves is approaching the top 10 career assists list for Hampton. The Chandler, Arizona native has 249 assists in her Pirate career and is seven away from cracking the career top 10. Tenth place is held by Lineni Noa with 256.
CLINTON NEARING 1,000 CAREER POINTS
Clinton is approaching the 1,000-career point mark as we head into the final stretch of the season. The Virginia Beach native has scored 934 points in her collegiate career with 250 coming this season to date.

The Aggies went to New York last weekend and split a pair of league contests. They saw an eight-game winning streak come to an end in a 54-49 loss to Monmouth on January 24 and then responded with a 63-44 win over Hofstra on January 26. Against the Pride, Chaniya Clark paced them with 19 points and 15 rebounds.
Jordan Dorsey leads the team in scoring (15.9 ppg), assists (3.3 apg), and adds 4.9 rebounds per contest. Paris Locke is the other double-figure scorer averaging 10.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Clark is just behind at 9.9 points and a team-high 7.6 rebounds per game.
