RICHMOND, Va. (Oct. 2, 2025) … The Hampton University women's tennis team returns to action in Richmond, Va. in the River City Open. The tournament field consists of the Pirates, VCU, Richmond, George Washington and Georgetown.

In its first tournament of the fall, Hampton posted a record of 7-5 in singles including a 3-0 sweep of Mount St. Mary's. Toffee Ghorab and Melis Sakiroglu led the way in singles with 2-1 records while Serena Bryan led Hampton with a 1-0 doubles record. Sakiroglu added a 2-1 singles record last year in the River City Open.
