HAMPTON, Va. ( Sept. 18, 2025) … The Hampton University women's tennis team begins its 2025 fall season this weekend when they travel to Towson for a three day event. 

The Pirates return three players from last year's team, while adding three newcomers. Serena Bryan returns following an impressive freshman campaign where she posted a 14-8 record in singles and earned 2025 Women's Tennis Newcomer of the Year at the Hampton University Athletics Banquet. In addition to Bryan, Masa Mitic and Melis Sakiroglu each participated in over 20 singles and doubles matched in 2024. 

Hampton is set to compete in three matches in the fall before starting their spring season in 2026.
