2009 JUNIOR SEASON
Played in seven games for the Pirates, making three starts… played on an offensive line that helped running back LaMarcus Coker become the first Pirates to rush for 1,000 yards since 2006… helped the Pirates rush for 175.8 yards per game and 4.4 yards per attempt.

2008 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in four games for the Pirates, starting against Winston-Salem State and Bethune-Cookman… helped LaMarcus Coker rush for a team-high 622 yards and one touchdown on the season… played on an offensive line that helped the Pirates average 106.4 rushing yards and nine scores on the season.

2007 FRESHMAN SEASON
Performed on an offensive line that helped the Pirates average 133.4 yards rushing per game, including a season-high 228 in a win at North Carolina A&T… helped running back Kevin Beverly rush for 602 yards and nine touchdowns… helped Hampton finish first in the MEAC in scoring offense and passing offense… helped the Pirates finish third in total offense in the regular season with 3,890 yards.

COLUMUS EAST HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year starter for Coach Mike White and the Tigers of East High School… all-state honorable mention… two-time all-district and three-time all-city selection… member of the Dispatch-Agonis Top 25… selected to play in the 2006 Central District All-Star Game… named one of the top 10 linemen at the 2006 Ohio State Football Camp… recognized in Who’s Who Among American High School Students… member of the National Honor Society and Rotary Club… also earned the Linx Scholar Award.

PERSONAL
Born May 30, 1989… son of Dennis and Janice Fowlkes… father Dennis played in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings (1982-1986) and the Miami Dolphins (1987)… has one brother, Marcus (29)… cousin Chucky Atkins plays in the NBA for the Denver Nuggets… had three uncles who all played football at Central State (Ohio)… majoring in recreation… wants to become a hotel manager.
