Hampton University sophomore forward Jervon Pressley was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance this past week on the basketball court.

Pressley (Charlotte, N.C.) averaged 15.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in a pair of road conference wins for the Pirates this past week. He poured in 14 points and grabbed six rebounds against South Carolina State on Monday, going 7-for-10 from the floor.
 
He added a season-high 16 points and grabbed six more rebounds in Saturday’s overtime win at Coppin State, going 5-for-6 from the floor and 6-for-9 from the free throw line in 23 minutes of action.
