Freshman running back Antwon Chisholm earned Hampton University Athlete of the Week honors after his performance on Sept. 30 at Delaware State, rushing for a career-high 157 yards as the Pirates went to 3-0 in conference play.

Chisholm (Belle Glade, Fla.) had 15 carries against the Hornets, averaging 10.5 yards per carry and scoring once. The MEAC named Chisholm its Rookie of the Week for his efforts.

Chisholm is averaging 92.3 yards per game so far this season, recording 277 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He's rushed for at least 100 yards in back-to-back games.
