Hampton University junior Micah Pellerin was named HU Athlete of the Week due to his outstanding performance on the gridiron this past Saturday.

Pellerin (New Orleans, La.) was named a College Sporting News All-Star following his performance on Saturday against Old Dominion. He had 13 tackles against the Monarchs, including 11 solo stops, while also recording three pass breakups and intercepting a pass.

So far this season, Pellerin has 14 passes defended (including 13 pass breakups), leading the MEAC and ranking fourth nationally with an average of 1.75 per game. He is also seventh on the team in tackles with 36, including 27 solo stops.
