Hampton University junior Reggie Dixon was named HU Athlete of the Week after his outstanding performance on the track.

Dixon (Plainfield, N.J.) won two event titles this past Friday and Saturday at the Golden Flash Gala hosted by Kent State University, taking the 60-meter dash with a facility-record time of 6.68 before winning the 200-meter dash with a 21.31.

Dixon has won four event titles so far this season, including two at the Navy Invitational on Dec. 4, and was named MEAC Athlete of the Week on Dec. 9.
