HAMPTON, Va. – The Hampton University lacrosse team returns to the friendly confines of Armstrong Stadium on Saturday to host the VMI Keydets in a 2pm start.

The Pirates return home after falling 11-6 on March 25 at Ohio Valley University.  Hampton (1-4) tied the match at 5-all on a Lemuel Randolph goal with 13:46 left in the third quarter, but the Fighting Scots scored six of the last seven goals to take the win.

VMI (1-7) lost on Tuesday to Mount St. Mary's 14-8 as Wesley Sanders had three goals to lead the Keydets.  Last year VMI defeated Hampton 25-4 in Lexington.
Hampton is ranked sixth in NCAA Division I Caused Turnovers Per Game (8.80) and tenth in Saves Per Game (12.60).

The Pirates will be on the road next week at St. Thomas Aquinas in New York and will finish their season on April 15 at noon against New Jersey Institute of Technology.
