HAMPTON, Va. (March, 1, 2024) -- In a rematch of the Jan. 28 game between the two teams, Hampton (2-22, 2-12) looks to continue its mastery over Hofstra. The Lady Pirates downed the Pride on Jan. 28 with a 67-62 win at the Hampton Convocation Center.

The Lady Pirates led by 18 with 4:33 left but Hofstra closed the gap to four in the game's final minute.
Camryn Hill (17 points),
Cheyenne Talbot (15), and
Amyah Reaves (10) led the way. But it was the Lady Pirate defense that paved the way. Hampton forced a season-best 33 turnovers, had 20 steals and blocked five shots. Reaves (2.2 spg) is fifth and
Le'Asia Foreman (1.5 spg) are among the CAA leaders in steals.

For the season, Hampton has had 10 or more steals 11 times. The Lady Pirates have blocked five or more shots on nine occasions and have had at least one block in every game this year.
