HAMPTON, Va. (July 14, 2025) .. Hampton University Volleyball head coach Ronaldo Pacheco released the 2025 schedule for the Pirates on Monday which will include 27 matches, 13 at home and three tournaments.

"Our non-conference schedule will give us a variety of tests against strong opponents, including our opening two matches against post-season teams from last year. This schedule will prepare us for conference play," said Pacheco.

The Pirates open the season with the Hampton Invitational on August 29-30. Hampton opens the season hosting Florida A&M at 6 p.m. on August 29. The Rattlers won the SWAC and made the NCAA Tournament last year.

On day two of the invitational, Hampton will start the day taking on another post-season team in East Carolina at 10 a.m. The Pirates were 19-10 and advanced in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship tournament. Hampton closes out the tournament hosting Maryland Eastern Shore at 6 p.m.

The Pirates will start September at a tournament hosted by former conference foe Delaware on September 5-6. They'll open action taking on Virginia Tech at 2 p.m. on September 5, then will face LeMoyne at 10 a.m. and host Delaware at 6 p.m. on September 6.

Following a 6 p.m. home match with American on September 10, the Pirates will conclude non-conference tournament action by participating in the Navy Invitational on September 13. Hampton will face former Big South foe Gardner-Webb at 4 p.m., then will take on Navy at 7 p.m.

Coastal Athletic Association play begins on September 19-20 as Hampton heads to Elon. The Pirates will then head across the water to take on Norfolk State on September 23 at 6 p.m., before hosting Stony Brook on September 26-27.

October will see Hampton visit N.C. A&T (Oct. 3-4) and Campbell (Oct. 17-18), while hosting Hofstra (Oct. 9-10) and Towson (Oct. 23-24).

In November, Hampton will head to Boston to tangle with Northeastern (Nov. 1-2) before ending with three matches at home. The Pirates will entertain Norfolk State (Nov. 4) and then William & Mary (Nov. 14 and 16). Hampton will celebrate Senior Day on November 16 against the Tribe.
